Schools in Kenya are currently on a break! However, the girls in our program have a transformative and busy break lined up.

Neema Girls Project is passionate and focused on instilling personal development, mentoring, and hands-on learning which in return help unprivileged girls acquire practical skills. Confidence is also instilled, resilience is built, and girls are taught to accept difficulties, learn from failures, and appreciate their accomplishments along the way.

During the school break, the girls have been busy acquiring useful skills like sewing. They are developing creativity with practical instruction from other skilled girls. Baking is also an important skill that the girls have been learning over the break. Under the guidance of experienced girls and professional bakers, they get the chance to explore the art of baking from basic recipes to more advanced techniques. This allows them to teach others and earn money from baking in the future!
